About this courseIn today's fact paced business environment, one of the most rewarding yet challenging move upward in the corporate hierarchy is to successfully accomplish the transition from being a Team Member to Supervisor. Unfortunately, the reality is that many Supervisors in the workplace today have never received any formal supervisory training for their role, and have been promoted because they were a great employee. However, it is a giant leap for any supervisor to go from managing oneself to managing or leading others.
This course is designed for Supervisors and Non-Managerial Team Heads who want to develop key skills in supervision to better lead their teams and shape their organizational culture. Students will explore the duties and responsibilities of supervisors and front-line management, apply the principles of management namely planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling, and develop essential skills for supervising and leading with confidence.
