The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Today’s Unthinkable World: An Entrepreneurial Perspective
This course helps you make sense of the disorder, chaos, and uncertainty shaping today’s world. You’ll explore the “good” — promising technologies, mindsets, and positive economic outcomes; the “bad” — disparities and inequalities created by these forces; and the “ugly” — those who seek to undermine economic systems. Through real-world examples, you’ll see how different actors impact the global economy.
You will also discover entrepreneurial solutions aimed at building a hopeful and sustainable future for humanity.
Dr. Agostino Menna is the principle co-founder of KnowQuest Inc., an EdTech startup in Toronto, Canada. He has held various academic positions including Ryerson University, Niagara University, and Niagara College of Applied Arts & Technology. He participated in several incubators including ihub, Spark Niagara, and is most recently involved with ICUBE from the University of Toronto. He is currently an advisor at the Fashion Zone and the Big Leaf Consulting. His research interests are innovation, strategy and agricultural entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto.
