Using Artificial Intelligence to Audit Smarter, not Harder!

This course will equip internal auditors with the knowledge and practical skills to effectively integrate AI technologies into all parts of the audit process. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly entrenched in our professional and societal structures, it's vital for auditors to understand how AI can enhance value creation and help achieve organizational goals. This course will delve into how internal auditors can incorporate AI considerations into risk assessments and develop risk-based audit plans. Moreover, participants will explore AI's role in providing assurance over areas like cyber threats, all while maintaining the independence and objectivity that are critical in the auditing profession.
Through comprehensive discussions and practical examples, you'll gain insights into the fundamental concepts of AI, including machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks, and understand their relevance in internal auditing. The course also emphasizes the importance of understanding the algorithms and data processing methods that underpin AI, demystifying the technology by presenting it as a sophisticated application of mathematical principles rather than an opaque 'black box.' By the end of this course, internal auditors will be well-prepared to leverage AI to optimize audit processes, provide more accurate assessments, and act as trusted advisors in their organizations.
