Evolving Portfolio Strategies: Factor Screening and Tax-Efficient Investing.

The quest to find outperforming investments that will persist is not new. Since the Great Depression, our ideas of diversification have steadily changed, and so have our views on portfolio construction. Today, we often focus more on trying to find the right risk exposures for the client that will allow them to meet their goals. How does one do this? In this course, we will explore factor screening from a historical perspective. We will discuss not only how our views have evolved but also what considerations should be made when advising today’s clients. We will discuss basic strategies for achieving tax-efficiency in the portfolio as well.
