This course provides an overview of the various issues related to human resources management in today's changing work environment. It explores the role of HR in shaping company culture, enforcing policies, and navigating the complexities of remote work and international laws. Additionally, the course addresses the impact of COVID-19 policies on HR departments and the residual effects on diversity and inclusion in the workforce. The course also discusses topics such as non-compete agreements, pay equity, dealing with offending employees, affirmative action, and the impact of Supreme Court rulings on diversity and equity in employment.
