About This Course

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) continues to intensify its enforcement initiatives on delinquent taxpayers through the new issue-focused approach. The IRS has also become more aggressive with its multilateral and international collaboration with foreign tax authorities. Thus, posing a huge challenge and increasing pressure on many businesses and practitioners.

While the IRS ramps up its enforcement efforts, staying abreast of the significant and latest developments in tax laws is critical in avoiding complexities and penalties. More importantly, learning to navigate the evolving tax laws is vital to strategizing a compliance program.

Listen as tax practitioners Rachel Rempel and Barry Furman, both from Fineman Krekstein & Harris P.C., present an engaging and timely discussion on the most significant issues surrounding tax controversies. They will also share strategies to proactively respond to controversy and mitigate further risks.

This Webcast will discuss the following key topics:

*What’s Driving Tax Controversy: Notable Trends *Tax Policy Updates and Developments *The IRS Enforcement Priorities *Best Strategic Practices to Manage Risks *Regulatory Outlook
